A day in the life of Regional Tyre and Exhaust
What is a typical day at RTE?, Well the simple answer is; that there isn't one!
At the moment, we have a real mix of motors booked in, with the work needed varying greatly from one to the next. We have a top of the range Jaguar in, needing new tyres. And we have a Vauxhall Corsa for a Clutch replacement. On top of that, we have a couple of commercial vehicles on the ramp, needing Exhaust parts replacement and a major service, along with a Fiesta having it's MOT. We are kept busy with telephone enquiries and quotes too, along with 'walk-ins' wanting help or advice. So, every day is different and the work can be so varied from Alloy Wheel refurbishment on the higher value cars, welding repair work and bodywork, diagnostic fault finding when engine management lights come on, through to the basics like a quick oil and filter change. We cater for all manufacturers makes and models, regardless of age and use only genuine parts for warranty services and repairs. We can also save budget conscious motorists money by recommending when an universal part will do the job just as well.
Never a dull moment is the best way to describe it. First thing on a Saturday morning before we open, Dean can normally be found carrying out scheduled fleet Tyre checks at customers own premises. The'typical' day usually ends with customers collecting their cars, (arriving in our courtesy car,) after the car has been road tested- to ensure we are happy with the results and having had an exterior clean if required, or delivering a car back to a customers home.
